How we turned a real home into a portfolio, journal and shop for an interior decorator
We built Pintopia.bg as a digital atelier, not a shop window: a look taken straight from the rooms, a site the client grows on her own, and an SEO base for every page.

01 · The brief
One site, three roles and no room for a template
The client is an interior decorator from Ruse with a clear aesthetic: bold colours, vintage finds and rooms where every object has a story. The content comes from one person with limited time each week, so the site had to grow room by room, without every new page becoming a project.
- 1
Portfolio
Proof of the interior work, shown in real rooms.
- 2
Journal
Stories about the objects and places, found by search engines and AI assistants.
- 3
Shop
Handmade and found objects, each with its own origin.
02 · Positioning
A real home instead of stock photos
We chose one clear position: Pintopia is the digital atelier of someone who collects objects, interiors and stories. The proof is the home itself.
Every room is one photo shoot
Shot as it is, with a story: what came first and what was argued about.
Every object has an origin
The portfolio and the shop speak one language, so a product never looks like a catalogue shot.

03 · Visual identity
A look taken straight from the rooms
The colours, patterns and type were not invented on a blank page. The mustard comes from the sofa, the bordeaux from the walls, the cream from the kitchen light.

Typography

and handwriting for the notes
A heavy serif for headlines, soft body text and handwritten accents
Patterns, one per section
Redesign: from neutral to bold
The first version worked, but it didn't look like the rooms. The new one is shaped by hand-picked editorial and boutique references, filtered through the client's home.

04 · Development
A site that grows without a developer next to it
Finds and posts live in a database, not in hand-built pages. A new room or find is a record, not a project.
- 1Photo of a room
- 2An object in the room
- 3Its story in the journal
- 4A product in the shop
A shop ready to open
It is built and waiting for stock. When it opens, no new site is needed.
One photo treatment
Vignette, warm tones and light film grain, so every room reads as one series.
A fast cycle
Changes go straight into the code and are live within minutes.
05 · SEO and AI visibility
A beautiful site that search engines understand
Design brings in the people, structure brings in Google and the AI assistants. We built both from day one.
Meta data everywhere
Titles and descriptions for every static page and templates for every dynamic one, with one brand name.
Text the bots can read
Pages are rendered on the server, so Google and AI assistants see the full text without waiting for JavaScript.
Content that answers searches
The journal explains where the objects come from, and structured data tells Google who is behind the site.
06 · Content
One photo shoot, content for several channels
Every new room brings material at once: a page on the site, journal posts, finds and social posts.
“Find of the week” is the reason to come back, and each product's “Story” explains why the object is there.

07 · The result
The client recognised herself in the site
A happy client
The new look was met with delight at the very first showing.
Rooms that tell stories
The hotspots on the photos are live: every object leads to its story.
A base for growth
An SEO base, server rendering and a ready shop: the site is set to be found and to sell with every new room.
